For the 2018 Creative Conscience Awards I wanted to create a project that would raise awareness to students of the dangers of excessive drinking. Alcoholism is a disease that affects people of all ages and backgrounds, but we don't give it as much attention when a university aged student shows symptoms.
The action plan for 'No Drink Is Free' was to visit Student Union bars at universities across the country and set up these alcoholism-awareness bottles on the counter. Each bottle had a label edited in the style of the original branding with statistical data about drinking at university.
Instagram and social media oriented posters were also produced to showcase the mock-up labels without the need to have the bottles be physically present for the message to be communicated.
To supplement the awareness campaign I produced a series of hand-drawn animated gifs displaying 5 symptoms of alcoholism. These were made to be used on social media pages to advertise the next student union bar pop-up.
